Week
10: Lesson Plans October 15-18
Chemistry
I - This week we will continue our
measurement unit, focusing on heats of combustion with the glucose and
fatty acid molecules designed and tested in the WebMO Computational Lab.
Students will test the chip for amount of energy produced when burned and
evaluate the data collected by each class. We will also delve deeper into
our discussion of dimensional analysis, scientific notation, calculating with
exponents, and using significant digits.
