WEEK 1 and 2 of 2021 for AP Chemistry

 

AP Chemistry – Remote week January 5^th and 7^th students will watch video notes posted on google classroom over carboxylic acids, esters, amines, and amides.

 

January 5^th Tuesday– google classroom meeting from 10-10:30 to answer questions over carboxylic acids and esters.  Please watch the video notes and try the homework before the meeting to see if you have questions.  There is also a posted video to watch over carboxylic acids and esters with an accompanying worksheet.  If you don’t have this worksheet, print it off google classroom or off my email or pick it up in the blue tote on my porch.

1.      Watch video lecture on carboxylic acids and esters and fill in note set.

2.      Carboxylic acids homework – finish and drop off at the tote by Friday the 8th.

3.      Carboxylic acid and ester video worksheet - – finish and drop off at the tote by 1/8.

4.      Ester problems homework – finish and drop off at the tote by Friday the 8th.

5.      FINISH ALDEHYDES AND KETONES WORKSHEET!!!

January 11^th Monday – we will complete assessments on alcohols while creating hopefully pleasing smelling esters in the ester lab.  Remoters will perform the lab at a scheduled time this week as well.
