Week 11 - Lesson Plans for 3/15 - 3/19
Chemistry I - As we
continue naming and writing formulae for ionic and covalent compounds, we will
have labs reflecting both. Ionic
compounds will be made and examined in the Ionic Bond Lab and the covalent
compound, water, will be tested to examine the special properties of this polar
molecule. WebMO, a computational
chemistry tool, will help show the difference between polar and non-polar
molecules as well.
Tuesday:
1.
grade naming #2
2.
writing #1 back
3.
ionic bonding lab reports due Friday with turnitin
4.
writing #2 due Thursday
5.
naming #3 due Monday
6.
