I Lesson Plans 10/16-10/20
Students
will apply significant figures rules in rounding to dimensional analysis
problems throughout the week. Several
small quizzes will be used to assess student knowledge of conversion factors
and sig fig use. Students will prepare
for the density column activity to better understand the relationship between
mass and volume and how they affect density.

Chemistry Lesson Plans 10/16-10/20
Students
will continue exploring different gas law through labs and practice
problems. Cartesian divers are made to
demonstrate Boyle's Law. The Crush the
Can and Rising Water Mystery labs explain Charles' Law and Gay-Lussac's
Law. Several mini-labs reinforce these
laws as well. Homework and short quizzes
are given to assess student knowledge as well as lab write-ups and formal reports.
