Week 17 – December 2nd-5th
Chemistry I - This week will continue exploring subatomic
particles and isotopes. Converting atoms
to mols to mass will revisit dimensional analysis and apply that knowledge to
how scientists find average isotopic mass on the periodic
table. Several assessments will be given to check on understanding
of the concept of the mol, hyphen and nuclear symbol notation, and conversion
factors.
Monday:
1. grade proton, electron, neutron worksheet
2. mol lab due Wednesday
3. continue notes thru relative atomic mass
4.
worksheet I over
conversions due tomorrow – example problems
5. quiz over it Thursday
