Week 18 and 19 Lesson Plans - December 9th – 17th
CHEMISTRY I - This week will finish exploring chapter 3 - the atom -
with a test. Students are continuing to explore what an atom looks
like and will be comparing and contrasting models and analogies throughout
chapter four as well. We will delve into chapter 4 - light and
energy - with an introduction into spectrum tubes and signature light colors of
the elements. Before break, the Flame Test lab will show this using
fire where the spectrum tubes excite electrons using electricity.
