Week 13 - LESSON PLANS CHEMISTRY II November 6th to 10th
This week we will begin to look at nuclear chemistry and how it has impacted history.  Nuclear stability will be investigated as students predict which isotopes are more stable than others based on the proton-neutron ratio and other factors.  The Gas Law Test will assess student knowledge of that unit.

Monday:
1.  notes thru Hiroshima and Nagasaki
2.  test on Tuesday
3.  radioactivity historical figures worksheet due Weds

Tuesday:  GAS LAW TEST

Wednesday:
1.  nuclear notes thru stability
2.  radioactivity figures worksheet due
3.  stability worksheet due Friday
3.  quiz over it Friday

Thursday:
1.  continue notes thru 3 Mile Island
2.  video over 3 Mile Island

Friday:
1.  grade nuclear stability worksheet
2.  quiz over it
3.  continue notes thru Chernobyl

Week 13 - LESSON PLANS AP CHEMISTRY November 6th to 10th
This week will finish up equilibrium, a concept that will be revisited throughout the year while reviewing acid base chemistry and thermochemistry.  Rate laws are introduced.  Rates are affected by concentration and time.

Monday:
1.  Ksp worksheet III back
2.  equilibrium review chapter back and discuss
3.  work in groups to fix equilibrium test from Friday
4.  study book problems due
5.  start rate laws notes if time

Tuesday:
1.  chapter 4 review  back
2.  notes and review slides for ch 4
3.  Bozeman #35
4.  rate laws notes continued

Wednesday:
1.  ion quiz top ten #2
2.  equilibrium test back
3.  bozeman #36
4.  rates of reactions notes thru example #2

Thursday:
1.  rate laws examples thru graphs
2.  kinetics I due Monday

Friday:
1.  discuss 5th grader visit
2.  Guest Speaker Michelle Verst
