Week 12 Lesson Plans

Week 12 Lesson Plans 10/29-11/2

Chemistry I  - Students will focus on specific heat in the completion of our measurement unit.  Dimensional analysis problems and sig fig use are still in effect.  A Specific Heat Lab will use a different type of calorimeter than that of the Energy of Foods Lab.  Students will identity an unknown metal during the Specific Heat Lab and revisit accuracy and precision in the lab to try to minimize error.

Monday:
1.      Grade sig fig/metric worksheet
2.      density due tomorrow
3.      specific heat notes
4.   percent error worksheet due
5.   conversion factor #3 worksheet due Friday
6.   sig fig MO PRAC due Monday

Tuesday:
1.  Grade density worksheet
2.  conversion factor #2 due and quiz over it tomorrow
3.  finish specific heat notes if needed
